<p>The daffodils are blooming a little early here in Ohio this year. They usually aren&#8217;t blooming until April, but we&#8217;ve had crazy warm temperatures for March this year. It&#8217;s been in the upper 70`F and even up into the 80` range the last couple days.</p>
<p>Everything is blooming early! Even the fruit trees are in full bloom, I&#8217;ll be back with blossom pics later today or tomorrow! Right now I want to share some of the daffodil pics I took earlier today.</p>
<p>Here are the basic yellow daffodils. They may be the most common, but I still love their vibrant color!</p>
<p><a href="http://homeandgardencafe.com/the-daffodils-are-in-blooming-in-my-ohio-garden/dafodils-yellow/" rel="attachment wp-att-2013"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2013" title="dafodils yellow" src="http://homeandgardencafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/dafodils-yellow.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="331" /></a></p>
<p>I also have some double daffodils. They&#8217;re a really pretty peaches and cream variety.</p>
<p><a href="http://homeandgardencafe.com/the-daffodils-are-in-blooming-in-my-ohio-garden/daffodil-peach/" rel="attachment wp-att-2014"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2014" title="daffodil peach" src="http://homeandgardencafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/daffodil-peach.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="331" /></a></p>
<p>These daffodils start out with a little peach in the center but after a couple days they turn to all cream. They&#8217;re definitely another favorite!</p>
<p><a href="http://homeandgardencafe.com/the-daffodils-are-in-blooming-in-my-ohio-garden/daffodils-cream/" rel="attachment wp-att-2015"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2015" title="daffodils cream" src="http://homeandgardencafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/daffodils-cream.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="331" /></a></p>
<p>What&#8217;s blooming in your garden this weekend?</p>

<p>Normally this time of year we have snow on the ground most of the time. We&#8217;ve gotten off really light this year, with hardly any snow! I&#8217;ve actually been watching some of the spring flowers start to pop out of the ground for the last couple weeks. It&#8217;s super exciting for me, since I&#8217;m always ready for spring and warmer weather.</p>
<p>Here are some tulips reaching their tiny leaves up toward the sunlight.</p>
<p><a href="http://homeandgardencafe.com/first-signs-spring-might-be-coming-to-ohio/tulip-sprouts/" rel="attachment wp-att-1937"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1937" title="tulip sprouts" src="http://homeandgardencafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/tulip-sprouts.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="331" /></a></p>
<p>Here are some daffodils sprouting right up there. I should have dug these up and spread them out last fall!</p>
<p><a href="http://homeandgardencafe.com/first-signs-spring-might-be-coming-to-ohio/daffodil-sprouts/" rel="attachment wp-att-1938"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1938" title="daffodil sprouts" src="http://homeandgardencafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/daffodil-sprouts.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="331" /></a></p>
<p>A few of my perennial herbs are starting to sprout, like this French Tarragon.</p>
<p><a href="http://homeandgardencafe.com/first-signs-spring-might-be-coming-to-ohio/french-tarragon-sprouts/" rel="attachment wp-att-1939"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1939" title="french tarragon sprouts" src="http://homeandgardencafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/french-tarragon-sprouts.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="331" /></a></p>
<p>I&#8217;m ready for those fresh herbs and flowers straight from the garden! I think I&#8217;m coming down with a serious case of spring fever!</p>

I put a layer of leaves over the whole thing last fall, so the bed doesn&#8217;t look the best right now, but it will this summer!</p>
<p>Do you have anything blooming in your garden this spring?</p>

<p>Tomorrow is the official start of Spring here in the Northern hemisphere. I think that&#8217;s definitely a reason to celebrate! My garden is finally showing signs of coming to life.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a shot of the pussy willow tree. I love the fluffy white pods when they come out in Spring for a few days.</p>
<p><a href="http://homeandgardencafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/img-5822.jpg"><img style="border-top-width: 0px; display: inline; border-left-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px" title="pussy willow blooms" src="http://homeandgardencafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/img-5822-thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="pussy willow blooms" width="401" height="301" /></a></p>
<p>My daffodils and tulips are both about to bloom. The daffodils have buds that are almost ready to open. A couple more bright sunny days and I&#8217;ll have some photos of the blooms to share.</p>
<p><a href="http://homeandgardencafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/img-5820.jpg"><img style="border-top-width: 0px; display: inline; border-left-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px" title="IMG_5820" src="http://homeandgardencafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/img-5820-thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="IMG_5820" width="395" height="297" /></a></p>

<p>Happy Spring to everyone!</p>
