Low Carb Pina Colada Recipe Hack

Thank you to my friend @sandy.jenney on Instagram for this low carb pinata colada recipe hack! No sure where it came from originally but it’s delicious! It uses Coconut Pineapple Sparkling Ice plus 2 tablespoons of heavy cream. Yesterday I couldn’t find the Coconut Pineapple Sparkling Ice, so I used Bai Coconut Pineapple still lower carb and yummy!

Yesterday I also made this as a keto low carb virgin pina colada, but today I added a splash of vanilla vodka, I know it’s supposed to be rum, but that’s what I had in the cupboard. AND I found the Coconut Pineapple Sparkling Ice at my local Kroger, so score!


This low carb pina colada recipe hack is OH SO YUMMY, oh so simple, and a great low-carb alternative to a pinata colada! I see more of these in my future this summer! The recipe is super simple!

Low Carb Pina Colada Recipe Hack

  • 1/2 bottle Sparkling Ice Coconut Pineapple I've also used Bai
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1-2 ounces vanilla rum or vodka no carb
  • ice


  • Pour all the ingredients into a tall glass and stir!
  • Enjoy!

I sipped mine tonight while I sat on the back deck and wrote this post! It was so relaxing and refreshing! I’m planning to have another shortly while I sit in the hot tub for a few moments. I think you could use the Bai and throw it all in the blender to make this a frozen drink! I think the Sparkling Ice would probably give too much fizz. The Bai has a little more carb, BUT if you were only having one or 2 I think it would still be low carb and fine!

This low carb pina colada recipe hack is definitely a cocktail recipe I’m going to keep in my keto and low carb list for the summer!
