I love the flavors of fall, and one of my favorite fall flavors is apple! I love them all from sweet to tart. I love apples when they’re baked, covered in caramel, or even just sliced with a little salt. I’m also a big smoothie fan. Smoothies are one of my favorite breakfast ideas. They’re quick and easy and packed with nutrition.
You can make this smoothie recipe with applesauce you’ve purchased from the store, or cook down your own apples and make a homemade applesauce version. Either way this apple smoothie is a wonderful way to usher in the fall season!
Apple Smoothie Recipe
- ½ C. natural applesauce
- 8 oz. milk you could also substitute almond milk or coconut milk f you wish
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- handful of ice
- Place all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor and and blend for 30 seconds – 1 minute. I like to pulse the blender to help mix everything together.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
